"We like to dream around the title of Laura Defretin and Brandon Masele's latest opus. Between the party that flirts with trance and the "lucidity" of this rave induced by the English adjective, the couple of dancers and choreographers, coming from hip-hop for the first and electro for the second, draw a dynamic and original path. The third show by MazelFreten, the company they founded in 2016, pays tribute to electro, the rare French urban dance style that emerged in nightclubs in the 2000s. All nervous and graphic arm movements, it is here multiplied by ten performers who know what challenge and surpassing oneself, the driving forces behind battles, mean.
