A native of Sète, Rachid, better known as Demi-Portion, has forged his own path in the rap world with determination. Starting out in 1996 with the group Les Demi-Portion, he made his mark on the local scene in his Hérault town. Progressing with Les Grandes Gueules, he imposed his distinctive style, combining a sunny southern flow with committed lyrics.
Considered an ambassador of hip-hop, Demi-Portion remains true to his roots and artistic independence. From his early days with Scred Connexion to solo albums such as "Artisan du Bic", "Les histoires" and "2 chez moi", he has captivated audiences with his authenticity and creativity. Last February, the start of his tour was celebrated by a sold-out Bataclan.
Since 2016, he has organized the Demi-Festival in his hometown of Sète, inviting big names in French rap, confirming his influence and status as a talented artist.
Beyond his music, Demi-Portion is actively involved with youth, inspiring future generations with his journey and values.
